This is the first day of issue of a stamp. It is the day on which postage stamps, postal card or stamped envelope is put on sale, within the UK the Post Office is the stamp-issuing authority. There will usually be a first day of issue postmark, frequently a pictorial cancellation, indicating the place (town, city or village) and date where the item was first issued, and "first day of issue" is often used to refer to this postmark. This year is the year that Walsoken has available a first day cover of All Saints Church in Walsoken. To buy one of these collectors items simply download the order form & follow the instructions.
